The backing band was: Rik Didjit on guitar, the bass player from TAR, & the dis drummer.
This was a stop for their country music album. They played all the songs pretty much as straight country as they could. It was amazing.
Rick Rizzo from Eleventh Dream Day played guitar for Palace. He bartended at a couple bars in Chicago when I lived there. Before the show, I passed him, and I recognized him, but I couldn't remember where from. I could tell from his face that he had the same reaction. We soon figured out from where we recognized each other. Nice and random.
